Save time and money with your own dedicated EV charging system.
Charging at home is the most economical and efficient way to charge. Discover why:
Instant and always-available charging to reduce range anxiety. Connect to any EV.
Lower cost per charge than public stations.
Save money with schedules and tariffs.
Reliable chargers installed with maximum safety protections. Get fast 7.2kW speeds.
Public charging can be inefficient - especially if you have to queue or wait around. For daily use, having your own unit at home is the best way to charge.
You can add up to 30 miles of range per hour to your EV with a 7.2kW home charger. Benefit from a device that's x3 faster than a 3-pin plug, and much safer.
If you have solar or micro-generation, a charger like the Zappi lets you power your car for free. You can also sync your charger with a home battery (e.g. Tesla Powerwall).
Start charging as soon as you plug in, or create a timed schedule to charge while you sleep. High quality installation ensures you'll get excellent charger reliability and uptime.
It will cost you about £10 to fully charge a standard 60kWh EV at home. For comparison, 7kW public chargers can cost twice as much (and it can be even higher in places like London).

By combining your EV charger with a specialist tariff, you could cut charging costs further. Many EV tariffs are available and it's an easy way to unlock even greater savings.
Example tariffs (EDF GoElectric)
Tariff A) 21.5p peak / 9p off-peak (10h overnight)
Tariff B) 19.5p peak / 4.5p off-peak (5h overnight)
On the above tariff:
For a standard 60kWh EV, you'll pay about £5 to fully charge (Tariff A). For a smaller 40kWh EV like the Nissan Leaf, you can charge for just £1.80 (Tariff B).
It's important to consider your mileage, charging times and household consumption. Selfcharge can help you find the best tariff for your installation.
Achieve optimum charging at home - whatever your need or budget may be.
